WCR is pleased to announce that U15 forward has been added to the 50 man protected list of the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL). By doing this, the Americans retain Dax's rights at the Major Jr. level and it allows them to monitor his progress during the season and in summer development and training camps with hopes oh him becoming a player in the WHL sometime in the future.
With Aidan Lawson making his debut with the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL this season, Dax hopes to becoming the 2nd WCR player in the young history of the organization to advance to Major Junior hockey in the WHL.
"The entire organization is thrilled for Dax," stated hockey director David Imonti. "Our coaching staff has worked tirelessly to secure opportunities for their players, and I am happy to see those efforts pay off. We look forward to continuing our work with Dax both on and off the ice to help prepare him for the next step in his hockey career. "
