u14's SIGN MALONE FOR 18/19

By WCR ADMIN 07/13/2018, 12:00pm MDT

WCR welcomes Morgan Malone to the U-14 Team. Morgan was a player who was an unknown at our tryouts. He improved every ice session and played with a

lot of tenacity during the final scrimmage. I found he had a lot of raw talent, I'm looking forward to working with Morgan and improving his skills. When I asked our

Coaches about him, Coach Mac told me he was a convert from Roller Hockey! His family came to Utah so Morgan would have an opportunity for him to get involved

with ice hockey.  I believe this kids work ethic is going to bring him to be one of the top 2004 birth year players. Morgan has shown he's not afraid of hard work -

we are anxious to help Morgan continue to develop his skills and pursue his goals both on and off the ice. Welcome to WCR Morgan Malone and his family!

CROFT SIGNS WITH 14's

By WCR ADMIN 07/06/2018, 12:00pm MDT

Welcome Ben Croft to the WCR U-14 Team. Every time I see Ben on the ice he impresses me Coach Metcalf said.  This kid has a lot of heart. He is not afraid to go to the dirty areas and get after the puck. Ben always plays physical - he drives the net very well and does not let his size limit his contribution. Ben was one of the more physical players at tryouts. He consistently gives a big effort - I’m looking forward to working with him this season.

PORTER JOINS WCR 14's

By WCR ADMIN 06/29/2018, 12:00pm MDT

We are excited to announce the addition of Brady Porter to our roster. Brady is a highly skilled forward and a great skater. He is going to be an impact player for our team. Brady has worked very hard the last several years and joins us from the Jr Grizzlies program. Brady plays both ends of the ice and understand the importance of being a two-way player. The future is very bright for Brady, he had some options this season and we are grateful for the opportunity to work with him this season.
